We went for lunch, portion size was big enough for both of us. We had jalapeno chicken. We love spicy food and it didn’t disappoint. They have all spice levels-from none to very spicy. There’s parking in the back.

We’re always on the hunt for great local spots, and this Thai restaurant easily became one of our favorites! We ordered the crispy tofu, Pad Kee Mao noodles with vegetables and tofu, and the Panang curry with tofu and vegetables — every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, authentic, and beautifully executed, with generous portions that felt just right. The Panang curry was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, while the crispy tofu was perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying. The noodles were tasty as well, though definitely on the spicier side, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to heat! A special shoutout to Ruben, who provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and very understanding of our dietary requirements, which made the entire experience even better. Yes, the prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality, freshness, presentation, and overall dining experience make it worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Thai food!

We visited Thai Spice yesterday as a large group during our vacation, and while there were some bright spots, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Located just a block off the waterfront, it’s an easy, highly walkable spot if you’re already parked along the promenade. The restaurant has been operating under the same management for over 22 years, and the service side of things definitely reflects that. Our servers were very attentive, friendly, and patient, handling our large group beautifully. To cap off the meal, Ms. Penny herself came out at the end to say hello and thank us for our patronage, which was a very sweet, homely touch. Unfortunately, several aspects of the meal didn't live up to the premium price point. The plates are old and show a lot of wear and tear, which really isn't reflective of the high prices on the menu. When the food arrived, the portion sizes also felt noticeably too small for what they cost. While the curries, soups, and other dishes certainly tasted fresh, they simply weren't as flavorful as what we’ve had at other Thai restaurants. I really like this place; small, well appointed and great food. Authentic Thai, and so it the owner. Great guy. We had the Curry Chicken, mild, and the quail. Excellent. For dessert we shared the Durian and Sweet Rice. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it would smell horrible. Actually not at all. The texture was a little stringy, but smooth and the taste somewhat similar to papaya. If you've never tried it, this is the place to do so. Enjoy.

Stopped by Thai Spice restaurant recently and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared with rich, balanced flavors that really hit the spot. The spicy edamame was absolutely delicious!! Our server was outstanding friendly, quick to check on us, and made sure all our needs were met. The interior was impressively clean and welcoming too. If you’re in Corpus Christi or visiting and want top notch Thai, this is the place!
